As General Manager, Kim’s focus is to lead the Meco team forward into the future.
Kim’s experience running her own successful business for a number of years has been invaluable for this role. She has proved the adage “that you don’t have to be a candlestick maker to run a candlestick company”.

Steve De Bruyn
Steve’s hands on experience on the shop floor, attention to detail, experience producing quality workmanship and logistical planning serves him well as our Operations Manager.
He is the man to talk to, to make things happens.

Having over 40 years’ experience in various roles in the Engineering and Oil and Gas sector including Project Management, Construction Management, Design Draughtsman, General Mechanical Services Coordinator and Planner to name a few. Grant enjoys the challenge of using that experience to undertake the many projects for Meco’s clients.
No job too big or too small, although it could be argued that at over 2 metres tall Grant is too big!!

Adrian brings over 35 years’ experience in the Engineering industry including Heavy Fabrication, Maintenance, Draughting, Plant Installation, Estimating and Project Management.
You can usually hear Adrian before you see him as he’s often whistling or humming a tune ……. he’s clearly happy in his work!!

Hayley is that upbeat, helpful person you hear on the end of the phone when you call us.
In the time she has been with us, Hayley has become an invaluable team member who’s “can do” attitude moves mountains and seems to win over even the more challenging of personalities.

Jamie Hill, Shaun Fabish and Sakeasi Waicere
Jamie is our newest Structural Foreman. In the last year he has cut his teeth on some very complex projects. Jamie’s attention to detail, dedication to customer satisfaction and the ability to build a great team dynamic with his crew makes him an asset in our workshop and on site.
Light Fabrication Foreman
Shaun produces some amazing one-off pieces. Anything from gates, balustrades, rain heads, guttering, kitchen sinks and a myriad of other architectural pieces. With the equipment in his workshop and his skillset, the options are limitless.
Meco’s reputation is very important to Saki. He ensures that he and those working with him produce the best quality work possible. Saki likes nothing better than being presented with a challenging project which he approaches in a calm, considered manner.
Waterjet Foreman/QA Supervisor
Darryn started with us in September 2021 but it’s not his first time at the Rodeo. In the past he ran our Light Fabrication Workshop, so Darryn’s skill set is very wide and varied. That knowledge and experience will not only help grow our Waterjet Division but will also further develop our team and the Quality Assurance to an even higher level than we already have.
Mechanical Service Engineer
Awad Ram heads our Machine Shop. Awad deals with Mechanical breakdowns, repairs, and servicing of machinery, lifts and general one-off machining jobs. Another big component of Awad’s job is the repair and servicing of all disability equipment.
Roller Door Engineer and Storeman
Darren is our longest serving staff member. He heads up our Store and oversees our Commercial Door team. Darren’s open, friendly attitude and his desire to help people makes him a real asset to the Meco team.
